Dolphins Mistakes Costly After Great Comeback
The Dolphins out gained Tennessee 468-364 on offense, driving easily downfield
But Miami couldn’t overcome four turnovers, including three interceptions by Henne, who finished with a career-high 349 yards passing. The Dolphins also got inside the Tennessee 35 eight times only to settle for the three field goals and turn it over three times.
Turnovers cost the game and maybe a chance at the playoffs. The referee’s called a bad penalty on Greg Camarillo that was not roughness. Final 27-24
Miami above .500 for first time this year
All Right Dolphins! In a game that was kept close by turnovers on the Dolphins part, the team improved to 7-6 on the year with a 14-10 win over the Jacksonville Jags. This is a sign of a great team when you can give up 3 turnovers and still win the game. The defense was awesome in not letting the Jags score after the troublesome fumbles and interceptions.
Ricky Williams was over 100 again and Chad Henne had an excellent day going 21-29 for 220 yards. Next up is the Tennessee Titans who are on a roll as of late.
Miami Dolphins Are Still In The Hunt
After having a disaster in Buffalo, the Miami Dolphins struck a blow to the mighty New England team 22-21 on Sunday.
This means the playoffs are obtainable with wins in the remaining games.
The defense was strong this last weekend, holding off Tom Brady from getting into the end zone. Chad Henne threw for 335 yards and 2 TD’s. Devone Bess and Brian Hartline each had TD catches.
This team is strong and ready to win the rest of the schedule. Next up Jacksonville.
